ARS capabilities
Appointment Reservation System allows you to:

- register as a visitor, exhibitor or participant for an event at the "Publishing Expo 2008", visitor badge waiting for you at the reception;
- see who has registered;
- schedule your appointments;
and
- make the most of your visit to the "Publishing Expo"!

Browser recommended: Internet Explorer.



Registration
To register in the ARS please fill in the form ( "*" compulsory fields).

The "Surname", "Name", "Patronymic name", and "Company" fields shall be filled in both Russian and English.

In the "Company's business area" and "Position in the company" fields choose from the pulldown or write down what is most appropriate in the "Other" field.

The "Company's activities description" field is not compulsory but we highly recommend filling it in to help other registered users to form a picture of the company you work for.

Your contact details are not visible for the other ARS members and are available for the ARS administrator only.

We will send you all ARS messages (appointment request, personal messages, etc.) by email indicated in your registration form.

You can register as a visitor/exhibitor/ participant of an event by choosing an appropriate field in the menu.

After you have completed the registration form click "Send" to send your form to the Exhibition office. Your login and password will appear on the screen and will be sent to you by email.

If you are an exhibitor or participant of a chargeable event, our manager will contact you shortly.

To change your registration details please go to "My profile" page.



Registration for an event
To register for an event please use ARS or a Calendar (click "-" by the event in the Calendar). The event added to your personal calendar is highlighted green. Other events remain grey.

If your plans have changed and you wish to pull out, please click "+".

If you have registered for the chargeable events, our manager will contact you shortly.

Your registration pack will be waiting for you at the Events Registration Desk (WTC, 2nd floor)

To check your schedule please go to "My calendar" page (one-day timetable) or to "Make up personal schedule" page (all-days timetable).

Your calendar also includes all confirmed appointments.



Participants' info, personal messages
ARS allows you to browse the list of the registered participants, check their schedules, send messages or suggest meetings.

To find into about all registered ARS members please go to "List of participants" page. The list is set up in the alphabetical order. You can search by Surname, Position, Company's Name and Business area.

To send a message to or make an appointment with any ARS member is as easy as a click. To find out when the person is available just check his/her personal schedule.

The ARS member you have addressed receives invitation by email. Information that he/she replied will be sent to your email automatically.

Your personal messages are saved in the "Personal messages" folder.



Calendar, meetings
To make up your personal timetable please use "My calendar" page. Click on the chosen day and the timetable for the day will appear on the screen in 4 columns. The first 3 columns indicate conference rooms while the last one is intended for your personal meetings.

To add an event into your personal schedule please click "-" by the event in the Calendar. To pull out please click "+".

To make an appointment please use "Make an appointment" page. From the list of the ARS members select the people you would like to meet with then choose the time and place for the meeting (e.g. exhibitor stand, foyer, or registration desk). You can also book a meeting room (please note that it is a chargeable service).

Enter the topic or a reason for the meeting into the "Comments" field and click "Send". All the selected ARS members will receive an invitation by email. Notification of their answers - acceptance or refusal or time change - will be created and sent to your email by the ARS automatically.

Suggested meetings are made visible on "My calendar" page. As soon as the meeting is confirmed by all participants it is moved into "Personal schedule".

All your invitations are listed in the "My invitations" section. Subsection "Appointed meetings" shows all invitations that you can accept or reject. Automatic notification of your decision will be sent to the meeting originator. Approved meetings will move in your Calendar and Personal schedule while rejected ones will be shown in "Rejected Invitations".

You can also delay the answer. The invitation will move into the "Delayed Invitations" folder. You can always come back to this folder later (please don't forget! Meeting originator needs to know your decision).

If you want to change the time of the meeting please use "Change time" button. You suggestion will be send to the meeting originator.

"Make up personal schedule" section allows you to check your plans for the conference, including . daily events and confirmed appointments. Press "Print" menu "File" of your browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or any other) to print your schedule.
